Products - Return & Refunds

At Rana Corporation Pvt LTD, we are committed to delivering high-quality electrical products (ceiling fans, inverters, batteries, stabilizers, solar panels, etc.) and professional installation services(by your purchased brand or us "charges applicable"). However, if you are not completely satisfied with your purchase or service, this refund & returns policy outlines your rights and obligations under Indian law (consumer protection act, 2019).

Products – Returns & refunds
This section applies to electronics items purchased from us, including but not limited to:
· Ceiling fans & wall fans
· Inverters & inverter batteries
· Voltage stabilizers
· Solar panels & related components
· Lighting fixtures (LED, floodlights)
· LT/HT cables, panels, switchgears

Return eligibility
You may request a return within 7 days from the date of delivery, subject to the following conditions:
· Product is unused, uninstalled, and in original packaging with all accessories, manuals, tags, and freebies.
· Roof of purchase (invoice / order number) is provided.
· Defective or damaged upon arrival – we also accept returns for manufacturing defects confirmed by our technical team.

Non-returnable items
The following cannot be returned:
· Custom-made or fabricated products (e.g., custom LT panels, fabricated cable trays).
· Products that have been installed or electrically connected.
· Batteries (inverter / solar) once the electrolyte has been filled or they have been used.
· Items damaged due to misuse, mishandling, or improper storage by the customer.
· Products sold under “Clearance” or “Non-returnable” discount offers.

Refund process
Once we receive and inspect the returned product:
· Approved returns – Refund will be initiated within 10 business days.
· Refund method: same as original payment (bank transfer, UPI, credit card, etc.) or store credit (as per your preference).
· Shipping charges are non-refundable unless the return is due to our error (wrong item shipped or product defective).

Replacement (defective products)
If a product is found defective within 7 days of delivery, you can choose a replacement instead of a refund. Replacement is subject to stock availability. If stock is unavailable, a full refund will be issued.

· Order/invoice number

· Reason for return (with photo/video if damage/defect)

Services - Refunds & Cancellation

This section applies to our professional services, including:
· Fire fighting installation
· Internal / external electrification
· Dg set installation, overhauling, maintenance
· AMC (annual maintenance contract)
· Substation, panel, and cable installation

Service cancellation by customer
· Before work begins: you may cancel the service order within 24 hours of booking for a full refund of any advance paid.
· After site inspection but before material procurement: 80% refund of advance (20% retained as site visit & planning fee).
· After materials are procured or work has commenced: no refund, unless we agree otherwise in writing.

Service refund due to our default
If we fail to commence or complete the agreed service within the committed timeline (without a force majeure event), you may request a partial or full refund based on the stage of completion. Our project manager will assess the situation.

AMC services
· Unused amc period – refund on a pro-rata basis minus an administrative fee of ₹500.
· No refund if any service call has already been attended during the current AMC period.

How to request service refund
Email support@ranacorporation.com with:
· Work order / AMC contract number
· Description of incomplete or unsatisfactory work
· Supporting photos or documents

We will respond within 7 business days.

Shipping & Pickup for Product Returns

• For defective/wrong products We will arrange pickup from your address within serviceable areas of India. (by brand or us charges apply)
For change of mind returns – You are responsible for return shipping costs. We recommend using a traceable courier.

Damaged or Missing Items Upon Delivery

Important: Please inspect your package immediately upon delivery. If you notice:
Visible damage to the outer box
Missing items or accessories
Wrong product delivered
Take photos/videos and do not install or use the product. Notify us within 48 hours of delivery. Claims made after 48 hours may be denied.

Warranty & Manufacturer Claims

We are just retailers/sellers and not liable for any warranty claim warranty only fulfilled by respective brands as per their policy. Warranty Many of our products (inverters, batteries, fans, solar panels) carry their own manufacturer warranty. For issues arising after the initial 7-day return period, please contact the respective brand’s authorized service centre. We will assist you with warranty claim documentation if needed.

Processing time & Refund Method

Stage: Return request acknowledgment
Timeframe: 1–2 business days
Stage: Product inspection (after receipt)
Timeframe: 5 business days
Stage: Refund issuance
Timeframe: 10 business days after approval

Refunds will be credited via:
• Online payments – Reversed to original source (may take 5–10 days depending on bank)
• Cash / cheque / bank transfer – NEFT/IMPS to your registered bank account

Exceptions & Legal Compliance

This policy is governed by the laws of India.
Disputes subject to exclusive jurisdiction of courts in Shamli (Uttar Pradesh - 247777).
For high-value items (inverter battery sets, solar panels > 3kw), we may require video of unboxing to process defect claims.
Rana Corporation PVT LTD reserves the right to deny returns that do not meet the above conditions.

Overview
Our refund and returns policy lasts 30 days. If 30 days have passed since your purchase, we can’t offer you a full refund or exchange.
To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging.
Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as food, flowers, newspapers or magazines cannot be returned. We also do not accept products that are intimate or sanitary goods, hazardous materials, or flammable liquids or gases.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

Note: Please do not send your purchase back to the manufacturer.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Book with obvious signs of use
CD, DVD, vhs tape, software, video game, cassette tape, or vinyl record that has been opened.
Any item not in its original condition, is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery

Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.
If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit will automatically be applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within a certain amount of days.

Late or missing refunds
If you haven’t received a refund yet, first check your bank account again. Then contact your credit card company, it may take some time before your refund is officially posted. Next contact your bank. There is often some processing time before a refund is posted. If you’ve done all of this and you still have not received your refund yet, please contact us at support@ranacorporation.com

Sale items
Only regular priced items may be refunded. Sale items cannot be refunded.

Exchanges
We only replace items if they are defective or damaged. If you need to exchange it for the same item.

Gifts
If the item was marked as a gift when purchased and shipped directly to you, you’ll receive a gift credit for the value of your return. Once the returned item is received, a gift certificate will be mailed to you. If the item wasn’t marked as a gift when purchased, or the gift giver had the order shipped to themselves to give to you later, we will send a refund to the gift giver and they will find out about your return.

Shipping returns
To return your product, you should mail your product to: support@rancorporation.com,You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary. If you are returning more expensive items, you may consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.
